What began as a creative gathering through Decorate with Purpose has grown into something more great, a collective effort driven by compassion, and a shared commitment to empowering widows. Our fundraising campaign started with an inspiring cake decorating event that brought together female business owners and individuals who believe in using their skills and resources to create meaningful change. But the journey did not end there.

Following the event, we continued to engage our community through additional fundraising initiatives and donor support. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our partners, donors and individual supporters, we are proud to share that we surpassed our fundraising goal.

The resources raised supported the SAW project, our widows’ empowerment initiative, helping provide meaningful assistance, opportunities, and resources that strengthen livelihoods and promote dignity, resilience, and long-term well-being of widows. All widows received a sum of 7000 cedis/ EUR 540 to support them in the areas of housing, child education and business. This achievement belongs to everyone who contributed, whether by attending the event, making a donation, sharing our campaign, volunteering, or encouraging others to support our mission. Every contribution, no matter its size, played a role in making this possible.
